Terms of Use & License

These terms govern your use of focusvst.com and the FocusEQ software supplied by CashflowBeatz. By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating, or using FocusEQ, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
Purchase and merchant of record
FocusEQ purchases are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment, applicable taxes, receipts, refunds, and chargebacks. Your transaction is also subject to the Polar’s applicable buyer and service terms. Prices and the exact product configuration shown at checkout control your order.
Perpetual software license
After a valid purchase, CashflowBeatz grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the purchased FocusEQ edition on up to two active computers you control, subject to these terms. The purchase entitlement is perpetual; the software uses a renewable authorization lease to confirm that entitlement and device limit.
You may use FocusEQ to create personal and commercial audio productions. CashflowBeatz claims no ownership or royalty in audio you create with the software.
License restrictions
You may not share, publish, sell, sublicense, rent, or transfer a license key; distribute FocusEQ or its installer except as expressly authorized; bypass or interfere with licensing or security controls; use one purchase to serve unrelated users or organizations; or reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software except to the limited extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Authorization and connectivity
FocusEQ creates a device-protected cryptographic identity and periodically contacts the FocusEQ licensing service over HTTPS. A valid signed lease allows extended offline use. You are responsible for connecting periodically before the displayed offline period expires. You may deactivate the current computer from inside FocusEQ to free its seat. Authorization may be withheld or revoked for an invalid, refunded, charged-back, disabled, fraudulently obtained, or materially abused license.
Updates, compatibility, and support
The commercial Windows release is designed for Windows 11 64-bit VST3 hosts. Host, operating-system, hardware, and third-party updates may affect compatibility. We may provide fixes, maintenance releases, documentation, or upgrades, but do not promise every future platform or host version will be supported. Current help is available on the Support page.
Ownership
FocusEQ, its code, interface, documentation, graphics, trademarks, and related materials are owned by CashflowBeatz or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. The license grants use rights only; it does not transfer ownership.
Refunds and purchase disputes
Refunds and payment disputes are administered by Polar under the terms presented at checkout and its applicable terms, subject to applicable consumer law. Contact support promptly if delivery or activation fails. A completed refund or valid chargeback ends the associated software entitlement.
Acceptable use
Do not use the website, download service, or licensing endpoints to attack systems, probe security controls without written authorization, automate abusive requests, distribute malware, infringe rights, or violate law. We may rate-limit or block abusive traffic.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how purchase, authorization, device, security, and support information is handled. Polar handles payment data under its own policy.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FocusEQ and the website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, fitness for a particular purpose, or compatibility with every host or system. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CashflowBeatz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from FocusEQ or the website. CashflowBeatz’s aggregate liability for a claim relating to FocusEQ will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected license during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
Suspension and termination
Your license may be suspended or terminated for material breach, license-key sharing, security circumvention, fraud, refund, or chargeback. Termination ends your right to use the software but does not delete or alter your DAW projects. Provisions concerning ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, liability, and dispute obligations survive termination.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms for future use or releases. Material changes will be identified by the date above and will not remove mandatory consumer rights. Questions may be sent to beta@focusvst.com.
