Thank you for choosing FocusEQ. For help with your order, Polar purchase, license key, activation, download, or installation, email contact@focusvst.com.

Contact support

Include your FocusEQ version, DAW and version, Windows build, sample rate, buffer size, and exact reproduction steps. Never send a full license key, signed authorization lease, private device key, payment-card data, or private project audio by ordinary email.

Install on Windows

1. Close every DAW and plug-in host.
2. Run the official FocusEQ.exe installer.
3. Keep the recommended VST3 location unless your DAW requires a custom VST3 folder.
4. Reopen the DAW and perform a full VST3 rescan.
5. Load Focus EQ from the DAW’s effect plug-ins.

FocusEQ’s commercial Windows release supports Windows 11 on 64-bit VST3 hosts.

Authorize FocusEQ

Open the FocusEQ authorization panel and enter the Polar license key from your purchase email. A perpetual license supports up to two active computers. Use Deactivate this computer before moving a seat when possible.

FocusEQ uses a renewable signed authorization lease so it can continue working offline for an extended period. Connect periodically so the plug-in can refresh its authorization. Reinstalling the plug-in does not reset or free a device seat.

If your DAW cannot find FocusEQ

• Confirm the DAW is 64-bit and supports VST3.
• Confirm the Focus EQ VST3 bundle exists in the selected VST3 folder.
• Clear the DAW’s failed plug-in cache and run a full verified rescan.
• Restart Windows if an older DAW process still has the previous plug-in loaded.

If authorization cannot refresh

• Confirm Windows date, time, and time zone are correct.
• Confirm the computer can reach FocusEQ’s licensing service over HTTPS.
• Reopen the authorization panel and read the current state and offline allowance.
• If both seats are in use, deactivate one computer or contact support.

Authenticity

Install only the official customer package. The installer and embedded VST3 must both show a valid Windows Authenticode signature from the expected publisher. Do not install a package with a missing or invalid signature.

Safe uninstall

Close every DAW, then use Installed apps → Focus EQ → Uninstall. Uninstalling does not rewrite DAW projects; those projects will report the plug-in missing until the same compatible FocusEQ identity is installed again.
